Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.
Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal’s after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans. And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower stopped Mexican nationals from crossing the border.President Eisenhower cut off this illegal traffic. He did it quickly and decisively with only 1,075 United States Border Patrol agents – less than one-tenth of today’s force. The operation is still highly praised among veterans of the Border Patrol. Sen. Lyndon B. Johnson (D) of Texas and Sen. Pat McCarran (D) of Nevada, favored open borders. General Swing, appointed by Eisenhower, changed that.
The program was called ‘Operation Wetback’ so that American WWII and Korean veterans had a better chance at jobs. It took 2 years, but they deported them! Illegal migration had dropped 95 percent by the late 1950s.
Now, if they could deport the illegals back then, they can sure do it today. lf you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter ’Operation Wetback’ into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself. Will Obama do this, since he’s all about providing jobs and economic relief?
